NIGEL HOUSTON
Nigel Houston joined Tilfen Land as investment director in October 2004 from Landhaven Properties. In May 2005 he was promoted to chief executive with a brief to progress the £ 1bn development programme, extend the investment portfolio from £ 70m to £ 200m-plus and build on the company's role as one of the leading players in the development of the Thames Gateway region.
Prior to joining Tilfen Land, Nigel - who qualified as a chartered surveyor at Hillier Parker - had significant investment experience with particular expertise in financial engineering and the creation of finance vehicles in the property sector. He was formerly a director of Langbourn where he was responsible for a UK-wide portfolio of approximately £ 600 million and then investment director at Dwyer plc where he was involved in the acquisition, disposal and development of commercial and residential property throughout the UK.
