WILLIAM MCKEE CBE
William McKee is chairman of Tilfen Land, Weber Shandwick UK Property and of the Thurrock Urban Development Corporation. From 1993 until 2002, he was director-general of the British Property Federation and chairman of the European Property Federation from 1996 until 2002. He has served as chairman of the CBI Trade Association Council and vice-chairman of the National Planning Forum. He was chief executive of the London Borough of Merton from 1981 to 1992 and, since 2003, has been visiting fellow in property at Reading University. William McKee received the CBE in the 2002 Queen's Birthday Honours List for services to the property industry.
