GALLIONS HILL
Representing a significant element of Tilfen Land's plans for regeneration and amenity provision at the Gallions Reach Urban Village and West Thamesmead, work is now completed on the £ 250,000 project that gives the general public access to Gallions Hill.
The 20-week contract was completed on time and within budget by FM Conway Limited and provides the local community with a paved viewing platform at the summit in the form of points on a compass.
Access is via a spiral footway/cycleway with many intermediate rest areas with benches and an ecological zone offering a habitat for invertebrates and other forms of wildlife.
