Tilfen Land Appoints Graham Lee as Senior Project Manager
February 09, 2007
Thames Gateway property developer and investor Tilfen Land has appointed Graham Lee to the newly created post of senior project manager.
Graham, who was previously with the American founded project managers Heery International, will report to Tilfen Land development director Simon Newsholme and will initially concentrate on two key developments - Tamesis Point and Veridion Park.
The former sees a mile of land on the River Thames in the borough of Greenwich turned into a new community featuring 2,000 homes with a range of amenities and facilities.
Veridion Park (formerly known as East Thamesmead Business Park) will transform 67 acres of land into a new business community for south-east London. It features 660,000 sq ft of prime commercial space and a new innovation centre being developed in partnership with Bexley Council.
In his previous roles Graham worked on a number of major projects, including Chiswick Park, Cribbs Causeway Regional Shopping Centre, Sun MicroSystems UK head offices at Farnborough, Green Park Reading and the Sony UK’s HQ at Basingstoke. Prior to joining Tilfen Land he completed a short-term consultancy for the Dubai Mall Project - the largest shopping centre in the world.
Commenting on his new appointment, Graham says: “Veridion Park and Tamesis Point represent two of the Thames Gateway’s most significant development projects. Together they will create major new employment and housing in the Gateway and I am delighted to have joined the team responsible for taking them forward.”
Graham attended the University of Westminster where he gained a BSc (Hons) in construction management and subsequently obtained the Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from the College of Estate Management in Reading.
