Tiflen Land Strengthens Development Team with Appointment of Paul Brettell
May 15, 2007
Tilfen Land, the property investment and development company focussed in the Thames Gateway, has appointed Paul Brettell as a development project director.
Previously with Greenwood Bell Limited where he worked as a consultant, Paul Brettell will report to development director, Simon Newsholme.
He will have responsibility for the overall development management of a portfolio of new build commercial projects and is also charged with identifying and procuring both land and new development opportunities for trading and investment purposes.
Commenting on his appointment, Paul Brettell said: “With a portfolio worth in excess of £130 million and real potential to add value through new acquisitions this is an exciting time to join a company working at the heart of one of the UK’s most significant regeneration areas“
Paul Brettell’s role at Greenwood Bell included projects covering the regeneration of Blackpool town centre, a major B2-B8 development adjacent to Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and a large residential scheme in the east of England. He has also previously held directorships within the Rowlandson Organisation, Shenley Homes, Pegasus Retirement Homes, Jigsaw Day Nurseries and has held a non-executive directorship at London Strategic Housing.
Simon Newsholme, Tilfen Land’s development director, said: “Paul joins us at a time when Tilfen Land is ideally placed to deliver further growth through a portfolio development programme and acquisition. Our existing commercial development opportunities and investments at Veridion Park and White Hart Triangle are key to this and provide major new, high-quality business parks at the heart of the Thames Gateway.“
