Aug 31, 2007
Tilfen Land has further strengthened its team with the appointment of David Crowley as development project director.
David, who will report to development director Simon Newsholme, joins Tilfen Land from Brixton plc where he held the post of director of asset management.
In his new role, he will have responsibility for White Hart Triangle. One of Tilfen Land’s flagship projects, the development is one of the largest industrial, warehousing and distribution centres in south east London, with planning for 1.1 million sq ft of space across 52 acres and occupying a prime location directly adjacent to the site of the southern end of the proposed new Thames Gateway Bridge.
Commenting on his appointment, David Crowley says: “With a significant landholding and a proven track record in this strategically-important part of south east London, Tilfen Land is a business delivering results on its home turf and one with the expertise to replicate that success across the Thames Gateway.
“I am delighted to be joining the company at an important stage in its growth and to be charged with overseeing the White Hart Triangle development.”
Prior to joining Brixton plc in 2000, David Crowley worked for companies including King Sturge and Hermes.
Simon Newsholme, Tilfen Land’s development director, says: “David brings a wide range of experience gained across the property industry to his new role. That expertise will be vital as we bring the White Hart Triangle project to completion and also identify new projects and opportunities across the Thames Gateway”.
