Hugo Buchanan Joins Tilfen Land in Newly Created Project Management Role

Tilfen Land has appointed Hugo Buchanan to the newly created post of director of project management.
Previously operations director (project management) at Brixton plc, Hugo will report to Tilfen Land development director Simon Newsholme and will have responsibility for the company’s Tamesis Point development in the London Borough of Greenwich and for overseeing the project management function across its commercial portfolio.
Commenting on his appointment, Hugo Buchanan says: “There are many developers and investors making great claims about their credentials for, and impact on, the Thames Gateway – Tilfen Land is already doing it and has the track record to match.“

Prior to Brixton plc, Hugo worked for MEPC plc as a project manager and for Nelson Bakewell. In seven years at Brixton he was involved in the delivery of over 1.8 million sq ft of office industrial and industrial developments.
Simon Newsholme, Tilfen Land’s development director, says: “Over the past two years Tilfen Land has reorganised its team and brought in a range of talent and expertise to help the company face both opportunities and challenges.
