DUNCAN FORD TAKES ON DEVELOPMENT ROLE AT TILFEN LAND
Tilfen Land has appointed Duncan Ford MRICS to the post of development manager.
He joins the Thames Gateway-based property investor and developer from Danescroft Commercial Developments where he was involved in projects including Salisbury Office Park, Central Park District Centre in Rugby and Oakwood District Centre at Maidstone in Kent.
Duncan Ford joins a team led by Tilfen Land development director Simon Newsholme and will, initially, be looking at the planning consents on two flagship schemes – White Hart Triangle and Veridion Park – to ensure that they remain in line with both market demand and the company’s business plan coming out of a period of economic uncertainty.
Commenting on his appointment, Duncan Ford said: “Tilfen Land is a business incredibly well-placed to take advantage of opportunities in a re-emerging market. I am delighted to be joining a respected team that has cautiously but with vision been preparing for its continued growth and success.”
Prior to Danescroft Commercial Developments, Duncan Ford worked for Rapleys (London) and Countryside Properties.
Simon Newsholme, Tilfen Land’s development director, says: “We welcome Duncan to the Tilfen Land team at a time when we look forward to delivering on our long-term development portfolio as well as identifying appropriate new opportunities to build the business as these come to market.”
