Opportunities to develop in an area benefiting from improving infrastructure and transport links provides Tilfen Land with significant prospects going forward. Our strategy is to undertake tenant-led commercial development, and residential development only when backed by site sales to a house-building partner on a profit-share arrangement. No new speculative development and suitable commercial developments will be retained in the investment portfolio. The Docklands Light Railway extension to Woolwich and the funding of Greenwich Waterfront Transit, a bus service connecting Abbey Wood, Thamesmead and North Greenwich, are key for south east London. Elsewhere, major road improvements including the A206 Thamesmead to M25 Dartford upgrading to dual carriageway, widening of the A2 to four lanes between M25 and A282, and the M25 widening to six/seven lanes between junctions two and three will all contribute to better, more efficient links for businesses, employees and residents.
