Jon Lloyd joined the board of Tilfen Land in December 2010 and was nominated by one of our shareholders, Trust Thamesmead. He is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with 35 years experience in property development, investment and asset management. Jon was previously chief executive of UK Coal plc - a major listed company with 3000 employees, producing coal for around five per cent of the UK's electricity generation and with a large and diverse investment and mixed-use development property portfolio. Previously, he was head of group property for HBOS plc where he was responsible for all operational property assets across the UK and northern Europe along with the health and safety and physical security of over 70,000 staff and the company's customers. Jon’s other industry roles include: project management director at the Rosehaugh Group, managing director of Yorkshire Water Estates, and regional managing director of international property consultants DTZ. Outside of property, Jon’s interests include involvement with the Prince’s Trust and is also non-executive chairman of alternative energy company Reform Energy PLC.
