To complement our success to date and provide a strong basis on which to move forward, the Tilfen Land board has considered how the company can achieve sustainable growth in the future. This is of particular significance as we trade out of our Thamesmead land bank.
As a result the board has agreed a new five-year strategy focused on underlying growth and security and underpinned a targeted increase in our investment holdings within the Thames Gateway over the next three to five years, together with a greater emphasis on direct property development rather than land trading.
